Welcome to The Fake Football’s Week 3 fantasy football rankings. The good news here is that Week 2 is over. The bad news is that a large percentage of your team may be wrapped in bandages or limping around on crutches. Last week was a soul crushing week for fake footballers as players were dropping like flies, but the season continues to plow along and Week 3 is now waiting. Below, we proudly present our staff consensus Week 3 ranks. Please check back often, as player status updated tend to shift our rankings throughout the week. Facing a lineup conundrum? 1. Alfonso says:

Fred jackson or kelvin Benjamin in the flex spot?

  2. Andy says:

Play it safe and start Garçon, or take a shot on Jeffery? PPR

  3. Andy says:

PPR Flex: Lacy, Sammy Watkins, Garçon or Terrence West?

  4. BeastMode64 says:

    Pick 3:

    L. Bell
    A. Morris
    R. Jennings

    Pick 2:

    C. Patterson
AJ Green (If he plays- still risky)

    Also, Ravens D or Saints?

  5. BeastMode64 says:

    Pick 2:

    Leveon Bell
    Alfred Morris
    Rashad Jennings

    Also, Ravens D or Saints?

    Also, pick 2:

    AJ Green (assuming he plays)
    C Patt

  6. Bobby says:

Pick FOUR of the following (1pt PPR)

    Michael Crabtree
    Reggie Wayne
    AJ Green
    Knile Davis
    Darren Sproles

  7. Ff says:

Cooks or decker (assuming decker plays)?

  8. Footballlll says:

Would you drop trich for Ingram?

  9. Di Ro says:

.5 PPR and I am worried about Ball’s match up this week, but also the underutilization of Vereen last week, out of these 5 which 3 would you start?

Ellington, J Bell, Ball, Vereen, Cruz?

    • Jeff says:

I’d go with Ellington, Bell and Ball. Cruz is a little scary right now and I think Vereen is the weakest of those RB options this week.

  10. football says:

    greg jennings vs deandre hopkins?

I feel like jennings will get a bunch of grabage time catches. Issue is I start Rudolph and Cordarelle also. What are your thoughts?

    thank you!

  11. Steve C says:

PPR for ROS I have Pierce but would you drop him for Pierre Thomas? Also asher Pats went into ball control mode any reason to start Bradshaw instead of Vereen at PPR flex? Thanks for your advice as always!

  12. iddqd says:

who to start? its a 1 pt ppr league with 1 pt for 10 return yds and .3 for first downs. i have 2 rb slots, a te slot, and a rb/wr/te slot open.

i have vereen, pierre thomas, knile davis, asiata, jordan cameron, kyle rudolph, and jarvis landry.

    who would you start?

  13. Wilsonian says:

I know I could just “check your rankings” – which I definitely went over – but I’m more of a discussion guy, so I want to see what you think about my lineup. I need to start of 1 of these guys at WR, 1 at RB, and 1 at Flex, who are you going with?

    It’s 0.5 PPR – 3 point bonus at 85 yards rec/100 yards rushing – 6 point bonus at 135 yards rec/150 yards rushing

    • Jeff says:

I would play Rainey, Joique and Wallace myself. Bell has a great matchup and Rainey should smash on ATL with Martin sitting. Make sure he is out, of course.

  14. C says:

.5 PPR 12-team league, is Paul worth pickup and starting over Pitta?

  15. Randy says:

First in waiver order, processes tonight. Thinking of picking up Knile Davis. Who do I drop… RBs – Ellington, Gerhart, Moreno, T. West, Asiata… Or don’t pick up Knile?

    • Jeff says:

ehh I would try to drop a lower WR from your roster but I suppose Asiata of those. Not thrilled about dropping him though, even though he is a slug.

  16. too*@!×forthis says:

12 team PPR 3WR and FLX
I’m in a toss up even with the rankings, I need to start 3 of the following:
    Cooks v min
    Colston v min
    Maclin v was
    T. Smith @ cle
    Hawkins v bal
    Fitzgerald v sf
    Also, 1 of these RB:
    Asiata @ no
    Gore @ ari
    West v bal
Thanks in advance, love the site!

  17. Mocka says:

Sorry this isn’t a rankings question, but I’m looking for a quick and informed answer. Would you trade Ertz and Michael Floyd for Gronk in a 14-team standard league? I would replace Floyd with Justin Hunter in my lineup. Thanks!

  18. Norman says:

12 Team PPR, Luck, Edelman, Wayne, D Murray, Stacy, J Graham, K Allen, F Jackson, Kelce, Sproles, Sanu, Dunbar, S Smith Sr. I’m thinking about trying to trade Sproles this week, what type of player should I be looking for that will fit on my team?

  19. Mocka says:

Would you trade Ertz and Michael Floyd for Gronk in a 14-team standard league? Thanks!

  20. Jrob says:

Pick 2: Ridley, Vereen, Donald Brown, Decker. Standard league. One for flex, my other RB is Spiller.

  21. Drew says:

Forte drops a spot in PPR Rankings? That seems odd.

    • Jeff says:

That is a good call, Drew. The PPR ranks are auto-populated from our regular ranks and can get a bit wonky from time to time. We will go in there and take a look. Thanks for pointing that out.

  22. Norman says:

12 team PPR, Stacy, Sproles or FJax as my rb2?

  23. Matt says:

I think Watkins is ranked too low and could be a nice add this week. Floyd torched the SD secondary in week 1 and they have given up over 11 yards per reception this year. An easy 6/70/1 is in the cards.

    • Jeff says:

Ya, its my ranking that is skewing his consensus rank. I think you’re right here, Im not sure how I had him down there but I’ll take a look at that when we update.

  24. footballtime says:

having some real RB issues with Jamaal out:
.5 ppr: Start 2 out of Rainey, Martin, Stewart, Cunningham?
If Deangelo plays do you go Rainey and Martin??

    • Jeff says:

That’s a tough spot. The Thursday factor hurts here. It sounds like DeAngelo will play so I think Rainey/Martin might be the play here since ATL’s defense is pretty bad.

  25. footballtime says:

.5 ppr: Chris Johnson vs Donald Brown?
