Fantasy Football Rankings: Week 5 Ranksauce

posted by gregsauce

Just like getting the real NFL refs back, the Week 5 Ranksauce is better late than never. Don’t worry, I already flagged myself for “delay of game”. I am typing this up an extra five yards away from my monitor. If I don’t go blind from the eye strain, I’ll be back to the line of scrimmage next week. Thanks for your patience and good luck in Week 5.

  • Would you agree it’s better to use Hartline in my flex spot over F. Jackson against SF?

However, I am torn with starting RG3 over Brady.

    • I’d flex Hartline over F-Jax because of the match-up and because Jackson is still splitting carries with Spiller. As far as Brady vs. Griffin goes, I’d use the rookie, but they’re both fine options.

  • IMHO, I’d use Hartline. Cincinnati gives up more yardage in the air than sf on the ground.

  • Spiller or Cobb in Flex spot 1ppr? SF scares me and no Jennings intrigues me…

    • I would still use Spiller. Green Bay’s usage of Cobb has been very sporadic. At least we know Spiller will get 10-15 touches.

  • PPR WR Need 2 Wayne, Antonio Brown , Steve Smith. (I saw the ranks but concerned about Smith after Seattle shut down some Big Receivers?) thx

    • There’s nothing wrong with playing it safe if you’re worried about a player, but I would start Smith and Wayne.

  • PPR WR need two, Malcom Floyd,Reggie Wayne,Julio Jones,Brian Hartline

    • Jones & Wayne.

  • shonn green or michael bush

    • I know this answer is too late because the Bears have played, but in simple RB vs. RB questions like this, just check the rankings. I had Bush eight spots higher.
