The Fake Football Reader Leagues: Week 11 November 24, 2012  |  Jeff

Eleven weeks are now in the books and playoff pictures are rounding into shape. Before we tackle the final two regular season weeks, lets see how the 28 The Fake Football Reader Leagues are shaping up!

Our lone unbeaten squad was finally defeated, as “The Grimiest” received their first loss and now sit at 10-1. At the other end of the spectrum, we have two teams at 0-11, still searching for that elusive first win. Come on, people! In our overall standings, “the roustabouts” remain on top and extended their lead this week. The current champs have an 80.1 point lead over the rest of the pack, and just may have wrapped up the overall prize. We will have to wait and see what the final two weeks have in store.

Our weekly congratulations goes out to the team “Luck Be a Lady” from the Fake Football Fred Savages league. The Week 11 High Score Champion won a The Fake Football T-Shirt, after dropping 196.32 points! Check out this lineup, with Andre Johnson leading the way:

QB: Josh Freeman- 24.62

WR: Vincent Jackson – 23.40

WR: Andre Johnson – 47.30

WR: Jordy Nelson – 7.50

TE: Jimmy Graham – 14.90

W/R: Ryan Mathews – 12.30

Host to letdown seasons from some of the most talented QB/team/scheme-proof skill players across the NFL, it was also home to a Titans team that ran a successful – if terribly named – “exotic smashmouth” attack that moved the ball as on par with a team ran by Andrew Luck. ...

That Just Happened, Quarterbacks, Part I

Everyone knows the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, the biblical cities rife with corruption and vice, targeted for destruction by God. Being a man (or woman!) of reason, God offered to spare the city if 10 righteous inhabitants could be found. Alas, even that low quota could not be met. ...
