Do you think it is worth starting Witten? I’d have to drop a speculative RB(Jacquizz Rodgers) to get a new TE for this one week.
I’d hate to take a zero there and there should be some decent TEs on waivers.
Who do you like as an upside PPR flex this week: Spiller, Collie, Titus, or Jacquizz?
I like Spiller, but until we see how many carries he gets relative to Fred Jackson, I’d use Collie.
Would you drop Randy Moss for Turbin? I’ve got D. Martin, Wilson, and Ingram as backups
Hold Moss and drop Ingram for Turbin. It will be hard to forecast what the Saints will do with Ingram, Pierre Thomas, and Chris Ivory on a week-to-week basis.
Wait a second, I disagree. Don’t drop Ingram, he’ll have the goal-line carries on a high-powered offense. If you need a RB play this week, yeah I’d drop Moss for Turbin. Moss just doesn’t have much upside, he’s stuck with Smith’s arm on a run-heavy offense. He’ll have a hard time carving out value in fantasy leagues.
Jacquizz Rodgers or NYG’s Wilson to start as flex in 20 team ppr this week?
Seems like a coin-flip. Despite the fact that I have ‘Quizz one spot ahead of Wilson, I’ll go with the staff rankings and recommend the Giants RB.
Chris Johnson at RB1, I have MJD, Jennings, Reggie Bush & Ridley as options for RB2. Thoughts?
MJD and Jennings will cut into each other’s workload, so go with Bush.
I’d definitely go with Ridley – agreed about the Jaguars running backs eating into each others roles. Bush has a tough matchup with a stout Texans run defense – I believe your best bet is Ridley, he should be in for a nice week.
Why so low on Hillis? Reports are saying he and Charles to split carries 50/50. I’m debating between DBrown, Hillis & Kendall Wright for a flex spot. Thanks guys!
Hillis may get 50% of the carries for KC, but Donald Brown will get 75-100% of the carries for IND. Play the Colt.
Good morning, I have A.Morris (was) should I drop him for Turbin and start him over B.Wells in the flex this week?
I like Turbin’s chances to start in Week 1 more than Morris, but if Morris winds up being Shanahan’s mystery starter, he’ll have more value if/when Marshawn Lynch is healthy enough to play. With all that said, I wouldn’t start either guy over Beanie Wells.
Is Austin Collie worth an add in a 12 tm PPR? Would drop LaFell.
Seems like a lateral move to me and LaFell doesn’t have the specter of concussions looming over him.
I would, I prefer Collie’s chance of having an impact, even with the risk of a future concussion.
Own Lynch and Mathews. Backup RBs are Benson and Hillis. Would you pick up and start R. Brown and/or Turbin over those backups? One of those RB slots is a flex, and have M. Floyd and Collie who I coul flex in, if you think either of those would be better option.
We know Mathews won’t play in Week 1, but Lynch’s status is uncertain. Add Turbin if you can and start Lynch/Turbin plus Malcom Floyd.
In a vacuum, would you trade Collie and Wayne away for K. Wright and K. Smith? PPR, have 3 solid RBs and also Britt
If you’re already set at RB, I’d stay put. Try shopping just Wayne or Collie for a running back.

I’d rank those guys Holmes, Collie, Little, LaFell, then Thomas, but Collie and LaFell probably have the most upside.
I’d rank Collie first, I’m worried about the Jets ability to get Holmes the ball against Buffalo’s solid D-line. Luck will be looking for Collie and they’ll likely fall behind because of their poor defense, leading to lots of pass attempts for the young stud.
Trade McCoy, Murray, DHB for DMC, Martin, Julio? Have Mathews, Benson, D.Wilson, Nicks, Lloyd, Wayne.
If you can stomach the injury risk at RB with DMC and Mathews, the upgrade from DHB to Julio Jones is pretty significant. I’d do the deal, but keeping McCoy and Murray is probably the safer play.
Gotta drop 1 in a ppr. Holmes, DMoore, Amendola, Quizz (my RB5). Other WRs are StevieJ, N8 Wash, Britt.
Sadly I would say Quizz but if you need the depth at RB, I would say Amendola.

It comes down to Mendy, Hunter, and Wright, to me. With the news that Mendenhall could play as early as week 1, you need to hold on to him for now and assess his involvement in that offense. I’d hold Hunter for similar (non-injury) reasons. If either of those RBs ends up in a starting role in week 3, you’ll be kicking yourself for dropping him for a defense.
That leaves Wright. He’s got a lot of talent, but his QB is raw and he’ll be competing with Nate Washington, Kenny Britt (when he returns), and Jared Cook for targets. Also consider that you only need to start 2 WR and ask yourself how often you realistically think Wright would start ahead of Jones, Brown, and Smith. You lose a little depth at WR, but I’d drop Wright.
Racking my brain. Have 2 spots for Collie, Rudolph and Olsen.
To start or on your team? Either way, sadly it looks like Olsen (who I also love) is on his way out.
Earlier this week you suggested I drop Pead for Dwyer instead of Jacquizz. Is that still your opinion with the news of Mendys recovery? I already have Ryan/Julio from ATL.
With the Mendenhall news, I prefer Jacquizz. Still prefer Dwyer to Pead though.

Yeah, I like Smith this week as well. Why so little love? He’s explosive, plays on a good offense, and is playing against one of the worst defenses in football.
In fact, I’m starting him over DeMarco Murray this week. I don’t like Murray against the staunch NYG run defense.
I think it could be a sneaky play but you gotta go with your starters in Week 1. I’d start the Jacksons.

I agree, grab Thomas – he’s a consistent fall-back option.

Hey DiRo- Its close, and when its close I give the tie to the running back. Smith also has the easier defensive matchup, I would go with him.

I am leaning toward pairing McFadden with Andre, Cruz, Welker and Maclin. Is that my best lineup this week (to go with Ryan at QB)?
DMC’s a no brainer. Run with him every week, no matter the matchup. I see Cruz abusing Dallas’s slot cover guys. I might go VJax over Maclin, but I don’t think you’ll be burned either way.
Need 1 WR to start out of S. Rice, M. Williams, or T. Young.
You can go Sidney Rice or Titus Young. Rice will likely receive more targets and is safer but I love Young’s upside. I’d go Young.

I’d start Ridley, he’s facing the Titans – a game the Patriots should have control of – and I expect him to receive around 20 touches. Should have a really productive week. Also really like Torrey Smith but I’d play Ridley ahead of him this week.

It would normally be Willis, but his record against the Steelers is woeful… Cheers.
@dean: I think I would do the deal. You’re downgrading from Ryan to Cutler, but but the other two guys in the deal would bring you upgrades. You’d be left with Cutler, RG3 and Wilson, which isn’t horrible. I think Marshall is a great pickup as well. And yes, I would trade Lloyd for MJD.
@BHowe: I would still stick with Willis. He’s your safest bet for a solid workload.
