Rest Of The Season D/ST Strength Of Schedule November 28, 2011  |  Chet

Ok, let me tell you what this chart is all about. On the left you have all the teams in this here NFL. Next to those are the number of fantasy points their opponents have given up on average to Defense/Special Teams according to standard Yahoo leagues. So the rest of the fantasy season, on average, the 49ers face a group of teams that give up more points to D/STs than any other team. Lucky them. Then if you sort under 15/16 you’ll see the average for the matchups for the fantasy playoffs. Cincinnati gets the nod there. Of course things change and these numbers aren’t the whole story. The Texans and Bears are two of the best teams at holding down the scoring of the opponents’ D/ST but now with Hanie and Yates at the helm that could change some. But this might help you out as you look at D/ST’s for the rest of the season.

I would bump up KC this week going up against Caleb Hanie. I’d rather have Caleb Followill from King’s of Leon QB’ing.

Game Flowbotics – Week 12

Not many, myself included, expected an Oakland victory on Thursday night, but either Latavius Murray really liked Interstellar or he’s secretly a fan of Welsh poetry. He couldn’t, wouldn’t, and didn’t go gentle into that good night, at least not before ripping off 112 yards for 2 touchdowns on 4 ...
