  1. Tehc says:

I have J. Dwyer in a PPR 0.5. Been offered M. Ryan and Mendy, for J. Stew and Big Ben? Should I do it?

  2. Bruh says:

Rudolph or Olsen till AHern gets back?

  3. Keith says:

Would you challenge a trade that gives Anquan Boldin and O. Daniels for B. Lloyd and Dreesen or are my league mates just over-sensitive?

  4. Neek81 says:

Deep league where we start 3 rb while I wait for demarco who better play this week ballard ingram or james starks ik scary situation thanks again

  5. Ant says:

If you had a choice to trade rashad jennings for any of these who would you pick: Hakeem Nicks, Big Ben, MJD, Jamaal Charles, or trade Luck and Jennings for Newton. This is my team:
    qb: Luck
    rb: mcfadden
    rb: forte
    wr: cruz
    wr: Julio Jones
    TE: Rudolph/Hernandez
    Flex: R.Jennings
    Bench: Cobb,Spiller,Tsmith, Romo

  6. Brandon says:

Would you give up Murray for James Jones? at RB I already have Rice, TRich, and JStew, but at WR I have only Marshall, Denarius, and Antoio Brown

    • Jeff says:

I like the concept, but I would try to shoot a little higher than Jones. It sounds like Murray will be back next week.

  7. Robert says:

Assuming Redman starts, do you think he’s a better desperation play than Daniel Thomas, Andre Brown, or Joique Bell?

  8. Hal says:

Need to sit one in a 10 man PPR league: R. Bush, R. Jennings, Sproles? Thanks.
    Lineup
    Cam
    AJ, Percy
    R. Rice
    M.Bennett
    Suisham
    Denver
    Bench: A.Roberts, Romo, A. Brown, M.Bush

  9. RoofieRace says:

Traded Mcfadden for Matty Ice. I’m extremely deep at RB. Do you think I upgraded enough over Romo to justify giving up DMC?

  10. Neek81 says:

Should I start josh morgan kendal wright or stokley leaning morgan agree ?

  11. Dumpy says:

Whoa, I have White and Wayne in a PPR. Should I try to trade one for Megatron?

  12. Lazershark says:

Thanks for fielding all these questions, Jeff.

In a PPR, would you trade Wayne + Ballard for Megatron?

Would you rather start Sproles or White in the flex?

Also, for ROS, do you like Sproles over Mathews in PPR?

    • Jeff says:

      No problem.

      1. I don’t think Ballard has too much value these days with Brown returning, so I would probably do that deal, but its closer than it appears.
      2. I would start Roddy.
      3. No, but they are pretty close.

  13. Tehc says:

Would you trade the combo of Torrey Smith and Dwyer for any of the following?: A. Hernandez, M. Colsten, Steve Smith (Car) or Larry Fitzgerald. If yes, what order ROS? Thx in advance.

  14. B.J. says:

Hey fellas. Would you trade Decker and Witten for Spiller and Lance Moore? I can use Daniels at TE if I move Witten. 12 team non-PPR

    My roster
qB- Rivers WR- Fitz, Bowe, Decker
    rB- Mathews, Forte Flex- SJax
TE- Witten K- Prater D- Balt

Bench- Luck, D. Richardson, DHB, O. Daniels, Daniel Thomas, Arizona D, N. Washington

    • Jeff says:

I think the trade is ok based on the structure of your team. You will lose some at WR and TE, but you will definitely boost your flex. I think its even enough to do if you like Spiller.

  15. louie says:

Cutler over Big Ben this week?

  16. RoofieRace says:

I have DMC, Lynch, Muscle Hamster, T. Rich, Jennings at RB. How do I sit two of these guys? And how am I only 5-3?

    • Jeff says:

Holy crap, thats a nice pack of RBs!! I am guessing your ‘points against’ total is pretty high to be 5-3 with those backs. I would probably sit DMC and Jennings this week, but try and see if you can flip at least one of them to an RB hungry team for an upgrade elsehwere.

  17. Mungfisher says:

So Donald Brown got dropped in my league. I own Ballard. Don’t really have room for Brown (K. Hunter, D. Thomas (I own Bush), V. Ballard, Flacco (own VIck) and K. Wright on my bench). Should I pick him up? Who do I drop?

    • Jeff says:

Tough spot there. It depends on how bad you need to play either of them, really. If you will need to play one of the Indy RB down the stretch, then drop Wright and make sure you have both. If they are just bench depth type of guys, I would just hang tight for the moment. It sounds as if they will split anyhow.

  18. Chris says:

pick 2 out of these 3 in a .5 ppr…forte, charles, martin. Thank you!

  19. go ducks says:

Going off my previous question—I put DMC and Martin on the block to see what kind of offers would come back. Someone threw out Vincent Jackson for DMC. Do you like this trade?

  20. klin says:

I have kyle rudolph, I picked up keller but he’s on bye. Should I drop Rudolph? These are the tight ends available:

dwayne allen, cook, myers, dressen, pitta, tamme, fasano, kellen davis, logan paulsen, clark.

Is keller going to be good enough ROS for me to drop Rudolph? Do you think he’s done?

Also, quick flex question: Rashard Jennings, Dez Bryant, Daniel Thomas, Andre Roberts, or Torrey Smith?

    Thanks

    • Jeff says:

I don’t necessarily think Rudolph is done but I do like Keller more ROS. If you want a one week filler, I like Allen for this week alone. As for the flex, I would play Jennings.

  21. unit says:

    who wins?

    cj2k/r. jennings/a. brown/s.smith

    or

    dmc/calvin

  22. herschel says:

@Jeff: PPR league. was offered Brady/V-Jax for my Morris/Amendola/Romo. My other RBs are McCoy, Lynch, J-Stew and Green. Other WRs are Andre Johnson, Decker, Dez and Britt. Also have Rothlisberger at QB. Thoughts?

    • Jeff says:

I think I would do it. It looks like you have enough depth at RB to lose Morris, and then you would be getting upgrades at WR and QB. Go for it.

  23. El Gato says:

Need an upside TE play – going against a guy who has Jimmy Graham. Tempted to play Dwayne Allen over Rudolph with Fleener being out and Rudolph facing Seattle — who do you think has more potential for big game?

    • Jeff says:

I wouldn’t argue with going with Allen. Rudolph hasn’t done much in the last 2 weeks anyhow. Allen might have a chance for a solid day.

  24. iMP says:

LOL about getting Greene into the lineup. He was just dropped in my PPR league. Would you drop Felix (as a Murray owner) to get him for RB depth (4th RB, can only carry four) or keep Felix?

    • Jeff says:

Ya know, neither RB is very good, but if it’s just for depth, you will probably get more playable weeks from Greene, as Murray should be back by week 10. I’d probably pick him up.

  25. Sully says:

    10 team PPR:
Need 2 WR & Flex from the following: Wayne, Decker, Sproles, Maclin, Nicks, James Jones
    Thanks!

  26. AdamH says:

In 0.5 PPR, go Sproles over Jennings? You guys have them very close.

  27. Jay says:

    Standard Scoring league:

    Who you flex this week?
    Felix, Green(GB), or Malcolm Floyd

  28. go ducks says:

ROS which two backs do I keep, and which do I deal for an upgrade at WR? D.Mart, DMC, R. Mathews are my options. I like all of them, DMC has a nice schedule, but seems in the worst situation. I’d love some input, thanks in advance.

    • Jeff says:

I would hesitantly say Martin. I do like Mathews and I agree with what you said about DMC. Tough call, but thats the way I’d lean

  29. unit says:

    who wins?

    jamaal/d.brown/freeman/titus

    or

    mccoy/roethlisberger/s.smith

  30. julie says:

What do you think is fair for trent richardson? 10 person non ppr

Hes willing to give up: bush, rashard jennings, titus young, leshourse, stevie johnson, colston. he also has lynch, cruz, graham, and eric decker and brees. He is in first place. Would i just be ensuring his win?

I have: demaryius thomas, steve smith, t. rich, morris, fred jackson, murray (picked up after someone dropped him), boldin, antonio brown, and james jones. With brady. Im in 7th.

He offered Colston, jennings, and hernandez for t rich and antonio brown. I feel a little weak at WR, but I’m not sure this is worth it or if there is even a counter-offer worth it. Thanks for the help, not big on trading so I need it.

    • Jeff says:

I wouldn’t do the Colston/Jennings/Hern for TRich/Brown deal. TRich is a certified RB stud, so I would shoot really high. It looks like you’d need an RB and WR in return so maybe shoot a Leshoure/Cruz package. I don’t think your squad is too bad as is, but try to aim high if you want to deal Richardson.

  31. Josh says:

Need a flex: Tony Gonzo or LeShoure. PPR for WR/TE, but not RBs. 10 pt rushing TD, 7 pt receiving. I know, effed up rules. Thanks in advance.

    • Jeff says:

I would go TGonz with that scoring set up. I think you’d have to have Leshoure hit the endzone to even balance it out

  32. Roger says:

    Pettigrew or Gresham?

  33. Desperate says:

Dexter McCluster-is he a viable start in a PPR league with 3RB/3WR/TE/Flex?

He has RB eligibility and that position is obviously wicked shallow. Is it unreasonable to expect DEX to average 5 catches and 40 total yards ROS? I would take 9 points from my RB3 any week.

    • Jeff says:

He is viable and I think he is a solid play with that roster set up ROS. The KC passing game isn’t exactly airing it out and he should collect the underneath passes plenty.

  34. need help says:

16-team, 0.5PPR. Need a TE for the rest of the season.
Dennis Pitta (rostered), Brandon Myers, Scott Chandler, Marcedes Lewis, Lance Kendricks, Tony Moeaki, Ben Watson, Chris cooley, Zach Miller.
    Thanks!

  35. Andrew says:

Heath Miller/ Dwayne Bowe/ Brian Hartline Flex? .5 PPR with 100 yard games bonus. Thanks!

  36. Jim Parkey says:

    1. Have Hartline, Heyward-Bey, S. Johnson for flex spot. Also have Felix Jones – would you chose over any of those WRs?

    2. Will Norv Turner keep using Brown on passing downs ROS? WTH?

    • Jeff says:

      1. I would probably lean Hartline, especially so if PPR
      2. I, for one, think Norv Turner is an absolute idiot and have no idea why he uses his running backs that way. I imagine Mathews will begin to get more receiving work but that may be wishful thinking until Norv gets canned after the season.

  37. Kyle says:

Cj spiller, Fred Jackson and Denarious Moore for AP too much?
    Rbs are Arian and Mathews
    WRs are jordy, Percy, Julio

  38. El Guey says:

Felix Jones or broyles this week? Non ppr. Thanks!

    • Jeff says:

Both are shaky options at best, but as long as Murray remains out, I would go with Felix. I really dislike him as a player, but at least you know Felix will get some touches. Without the TD grabs, Broyles hasnt done much the last 2 weeks.

  39. dave says:

I’m heard some of talk of D. Martins value dropping because of the loss of carl nicks. “With Carl Nicks left guard, Doug Martin has been averaging 4.5 ypc on the left 4.4 ypc in the middle and 3.2 ypc on the right side.”- Matthew berry

thoughts about ranking at martin 10, ROS? thinking about selling high.

    • Jeff says:

I think Martin is legit, even despite the loss of his best lineman. Martin’s involvement in the passing game should keep him rolling. 10 might be a shade high ROS, but it would obviously depend on your return package if you decide to jump ship. If you have decent depth at RB, I wouldn’t say its a terrible idea.

  40. Jake says:

Should I trade my CJ2k for Jonathan Stewart?

    • Jeff says:

This is a difficult call right now. I would say no right now, but I wouldn’t argue with you if you pulled the trigger…especially if D. Williams ends up getting traded.

  41. Zandercage says:

Would you trade Sidney Rice and a 4th round pick for Andre Johnson and a 6th round pick? I need help with WR/WLEX and love AJ’s ROS.

  42. Ben says:

I have two trades to ask about. 1 thats on the way…
I get Aaron Hernandez and I gave Titus Young and Leshoure. Now I have a spot to pick up a kicker.

Another trade I am considering is…
I get Donald Brown and Jimmy Graham
I give Percy Harvin and Brandon Pettigrew.

I feel really bad about giving away a consistent player like Harvin but I was hurting in the TE position with Pettigrew. But now I have Hernandez and so maybe if I get this trade im looking at having Graham as TE and Hernandez as FLEX.

    My roster for QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1FLEX
    QB: Ryan
    RB: McGahee, DMC, SJAX, Jennings
WR: J. Jones, Harvin, D. Moore, T. Smith, Cobb, Maclin
    TE: Hernandez

    Thanks ALOT!

    • Jeff says:

I would stick with Hernandez at TE and keep Harvin. You still have plenty of good options at your flex spot.

    • emceeperiod says:

I agree with Jeff. I wouldn’t trade Harvin for Brown and Graham straight up, nevermind throwing Pettigrew in there. Also, I think DET passing game gets back on track anyway in the second half and Pettigrew has a better second half than first.

  43. Cool Runnings says:

14 Team PPR: Which defense would you start this week: Det, Pit, Phi, Was…..right now I have Det starting

Chalk Value Plays Miami Dolphins DST vs Cleveland Well, the price-makers oat Yahoo! got out ahead of the game on this one. They have Miami tied for the highest priced DST on the board. Week 2 DFS Value Picks: UPDATED

What a Week 1! Value abounded, and much of it came from unexpected sources (I’m looking at you, Jack Doyle). Some of the picks I wrote about went well, namely Tajae Sharpe, Theo Riddick, and–everybody’s fantasy darling–Spencer Ware. Others, well…not so much. Jared Cook definitely didn’t pan out, and we ...
