Week 17 Fantasy Football Rankings

The final week of the season is a treacherous time for fantasy players because we never fully know which teams will rest their talent and which will channel Herm Edwards and play, to win, the game. This year, the week 17 trends are relatively straightforward. Stay away from your typical Packer and Texan starters, as those teams are locked into their playoff seeds and have nothing to play for. The Cowboys and Giants decided to start the playoffs a week early, so start them with confidence. Meanwhile, all of the other potential playoff teams should be playing to win, with the possible exception of the Atlanta Falcons. If the Lions win early against Green Bay, the Falcons will be locked in as the NFC’s 6-seed. With that in mind, sit your dirty birds unless you have reasonable back-ups in the late games to which you can audible. Just don’t yell “KILL KILL KILL” at your Smartphone while you change your lineup; your friends and family are probably worried about you enough as it is. Welcome to the Week 17 Rankings.
